Ham and Peas Mac-and-Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) box Food Club Medium Shells
  • 4 tablespoons Food Club Butter
  • 1/4 cup Food Club All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Fresh Harvest Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Food Club Garlic Powder
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 8 ounces Food Club Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Food Club Sweet Peas, drained
  • 1 cup cubed cooked ham

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk for 1 minute or until lightly browned.
  3. Add the milk, garlic powder and salt and whisk to combine. Bring to a simmer and turn off the heat. Add the white cheddar cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the pot and combine. Mix in the peas and ham just until combined. Serve immediately.
