Brookshire Brothers is proud to partner with the Junior League of Lufkin and the Angelina County community for the 11th annual Back to School Bonanza on July 31, 2021.

Held each year at the Pister Garrison Convention Center, Back to School Bonanza is a community-wide project that provides backpacks, school supplies and other vital services to families in need in the Angelina County area.

The project helps under-resourced students get back to the classroom fully prepared and on an equal footing with their classmates in order to have a successful school year. 

In 2020, the Back to School Bonanza team distributed nearly 3,000 backpacks to children in need. Families were also given the opportunity to partake in numerous activities to prepare them for the upcoming school year including free health kits, free shoes and underwear, and free school uniforms!
