Apple Crisp Macchiato
Makes about 2/3 cup syrup; 1 serving macchiato
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons spiced apple syrup

- 3/4 cup Wide Awake Coffee Co. Cold Brew Unsweetened Espresso Blend, chilled
- 1/4 cup Salted Caramel Dairy Creamer
- Food Club Whipped Topping
- Food Club Caramel Syrup
- Food Club Ground Cinnamon
- Cinnamon Sticks (optional)
For the Spiced Apple Syrup:
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1/3 cup Food Club Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Food Club Apple Juice
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
For the Spiced Apple Syrup:
- Simmer sliced apple, brown sugar, apple juice, water, and spices in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until liquid is reduced by half and is syrupy, about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let cool, then strain into a clean jar. Stir in vanilla.
For the Macchiato:
- Measure spiced syrup into a serving glass. Fill glass with ice, then add cold brew.
- Slowly pour creamer on top of coffee. (Tip: Pour it into the glass over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect!)
- Top with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Add a cinnamon stick if desired. Serve immediately.
