Ingredients
- 4 Ahi Tuna Steaks
- 3 TBS Coconut Aminos
- 1 TBS Sesame Oil
- 2 TBS Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 TBS steak seasoning
- Canola Oil
For the Dressing
- 1/2 tsp Wasabi Paste
- 1 TBS Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 TBS Coconut Aminos
- 2 TBS Olive Oil
- 1 TBS Bacon Drippings
- 2 TBS Finely Minced Shallots
Directions
1. Combine coconut aminos, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
2. Marinade the tuna steaks in the liquids for 30 minutes.
3. Heat a skillet over med-high-high heat until very hot (usually 3-5 minutes).
4. Remove tuna steaks from marinade and pat dry. Lightly season with steak seasoning.
5. Add a thin layer of canola oil to the hot pan and sear the tuna steak on each side for 90 seconds.
6. Allow tuna steaks to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
7. Serve over a bed of fresh baby greens, thinly sliced radish, chopped crisp bacon and sliced cucumbers.
