Sure, it’s convenient to buy bottled salad dressing from the grocery store, but there really is nothing like the taste of fresh, homemade dressing drizzled over your favorite salad. Even better when the dressing can be made with just a few shakes of a mason jar! I can’t get enough of the flavor of Green Goddess dressing.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In 3-cup or larger jar with tight-fitting lid, place all ingredients. Seal jar; shake vigorously until ingredients are well combined.
- Pour dressing over your favorite salad. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.
