For more than 100 years, Brookshire Brothers has made charitable contributions to aid in the fight against food insecurity and in support of programs and initiatives focused on education, health and wellbeing. The Brookshire Brothers Charitable Foundation, a separately operated 501(c)(3) organization, furthers the company’s mission by assisting additional nonprofit agencies on a larger scale. The BBCF seeks to enhance the quality of life in Texas and western Louisiana by supporting organizations that directly and positively impact the people living and working in areas served by Brookshire Brothers, Inc.
Funded by an annual 5K and fun run and by Brookshire Brothers’ generous vendor partners, who sponsor annual golf tournaments, the charitable foundation has given away more than two million dollars over the past two decades.
The application for the 2025 grant cycle will be available here on August 1, 2024. The deadline to submit an application is October 4, 2024 by 5 p.m. For more information, please contact BBCF@brookshirebros.com.
